My next two hours of Bloodborne, played several hours after the first, went surprisingly well.  In fact, I only died once.  The area which had gotten the best of me in my last attempt was my first challenge this time around, and I cleared it with relative ease.  By this time, my baiting skills are pretty good, having learned the ropes through notable failures.  Afterwards, I was confronted by the bridge.  First, however, it is time for a bit of honesty.

Bloodborne: My Story of Hope and Despair, but Mostly Despair (The Prequel)

I am a fool.  I have never played any of the Dark Souls games (or Demon Souls) and in general, I am not good at difficult games.  Typically, I will play things on an easier difficulty so I can ensure I play-through it with little trouble.  When I go back to a game I will play it on a higher difficulty, but I only like being challenged by something I have beaten before.  Well, it is time to accept a new challenge and get my ass kicked.  I bought Bloodborne.

Bloodborne Impressions (Part One)

If I could sum up Bloodborne in two words, those words would be buy now! Not only is From Software’s newest entry the video game/PS4 exclusive we deserved and needed, it is the game that we have wanted!!! I am only about 12 hours into well over 50+ hour game, and already I want to give this game a perfect rating! However in the interest of fairness, I break down my first impressions of this game into two main categories, gameplay and story/graphics.

Impressions – Dragon Ball Xenoverse (Part Three)

As I play this game I grow to love it and seem to gain another reason to be frustrated with it.  Don’t get me wrong, I have enjoyed my 20-30 hours so far as a Saiyan, now level 46.  This game is a great fighting game.  The RPG elements are nice, but they could be a lot better.  However, the moves are just getting better, even though the difficulty is spiking like no other.
